🚨 ROGUE TRADER ALERT 🚨

Residents are being reminded to be vigilant following reports of rogue traders operating in the Thanet area.

Rogue traders often target vulnerable residents, offering to carry out urgent repairs, gardening, roofing, driveway work, or maintenance. They may claim work is needed immediately and request large upfront payments.

Remember:

Do not agree to work from cold callers.

Obtain multiple quotes from reputable companies.

Never feel pressured into making an immediate decision.

Avoid paying large sums of money upfront.

Ask for identification and check credentials.

If you have concerns about suspicious callers or believe you have been targeted, please report it to Kent Police on 101 or Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
